The first thing to tell is that I love photography. There’s something about being able to click a button and capture a moment in time that makes me utterly happy. Most of my photos are still life, and nature, though I do dabble in portraits when the right subjects happen by (mainly my best friend Mimi and my dog, Kusy). I photograph with a Nikon D3000 and the basic 18-55 VR lens.
I write less than I wish I did, but it’s my life goal to publish a novel someday. For the most part, I pen out poems, and sci-fi/mystery/thriller/horror novel ideas, though I’m currently working on several too many novels.
Another love/passion/obsession of mine is graphic design. Playing around in Photoshop is immensely satisfying (and a nice way to waste a whole day). Check out my graphic design blog here.
I love animals, mostly dogs and birds. If I could, I would move to a one-hundred acre farm in New York state (or Wisconsin, I haven’t yet decided). But I’m stuck here on a windy, less-than-half-an-acre piece of land in Illinois with my parents and older brother.
Before I begin to ramble on about myself, I’ll say I love gardening, too. I particularly adore black-eyed susans, zinnias, and dahlias :)
I am a Catholic who supports gay rights (but not abortion), and a proud first generation Polish-American.
